We assess these three areas for possible points-tested skilled migration. Your exact occupation, qualifications and duties determine which options deserve a closer look.
Registered nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and medical laboratory scientists are examples. We review your qualification and registration history and identify the relevant skills assessment requirements. Passing NCLEX alone does not establish eligibility.
Early childhood, secondary and special education teachers may have options. Primary school teachers need a separate occupation-list review. Teacher qualifications, supervised practice and English evidence are relevant to the assessment.
Examples include carpenters, bricklayers, electricians, plumbers, civil engineers, quantity surveyors and construction project managers. We look at your actual duties, qualifications and supporting work evidence.
NO EMPLOYER SPONSORSHIP REQUIRED
Permanent residency. Requires an eligible occupation, points and an invitation. No employer sponsor or state nomination is needed.
Permanent residency. Requires state or territory nomination and an invitation. Nomination adds five points. Each state sets its own selection criteria.
Five-year provisional visa. Requires state nomination or eligible family sponsorship and an invitation, with regional conditions. Adds 15 points. A later PR application has separate requirements.
Applicants generally need to be under 45 at invitation, meet English and skills assessment requirements, and score at least 65 points. Meeting the minimum does not guarantee an invitation or visa. Some state nomination streams require employment or a job offer; we check the rules for your chosen pathway and offshore location.
